A crowdfunding website is like a great platform that lets both – NGO's and startups raise funds online. Since we're in an age, where the Internet rules, people who seek financial help can really expand their fundraising efforts to the national borders and even beyond them.

Despite the real power of crowdfunding, many campaigns nowadays are focused on the local audience and only a few campaigns break the international borders to raise funds. A part of the credit goes to the social networking sites and, of course, TV, that help viral news or social causes for some reason. You must have come across the news, where the people are affected by natural disasters and look for donations.

Try to approach those people also that you haven't in talks with for a long time. They could be the key assets to grow your campaign. You never know!
